In order to write a review on Professor Rating pages, you must be logged in as a current student who uses a university email address to ensure that no users can rate a professor who isn't real, and no one can use fake accounts to manipulate the ratings. This ensures that all user reviews for a professor are from a verified student at a recognized university. Once you have found the professor, go to their Professor Rating page and rate them using a 1-to-5 star rating for quality. Then you will select tags that describe what you would consider to be the best traits of that professor, such as clear lectures, hard grading, helpful office hours, heavy course load, challenging but good, easy to take, and more, to give readers of these ratings context. You will also be able to write out a text review, describing your experience in your own words.

All reviews you submit will be done anonymously, nobody will be able to read your name, but your name is known to the moderation team should the need arise to take action regarding any abuse. Your review will be held in moderation before being posted to ensure that no review spam, personal attacks, or inappropriate language are ever posted to this website. You can only write one review for each professor, and you won’t be allowed to change a review after it has been approved or rejected. Each review must then have its origin tracked to ensure that nobody is abusing these reviews or manipulating their rating system, creating a rating system for users to trust.
