Find & Rate Professors
Search professors by name, read reviews, compare ratings, and plan your semester strategically.
The Professor Ratings part of the site allows you to search for professors by their name, a university that they have taught at, or even the course that they teach. These professor profile pages are public and require no log-in to navigate or read content, allowing any user to access professors and read their ratings. A professor will have a star rating overall, as well as a count of the total amount of reviews and percentage that say that they would take that professor’s course again. Additionally, a set of tags based on the text-based reviews of the user reviews will help describe what the common characteristics of that professor are, whether that is clear lectures, helpful grading, helpful office hours, challenging but worth it, or something else.
Use professor rating and reviews to determine a course plan for your semester, allowing you to compare professors for each class or see if any course options are more appealing than others. The would-take-again percentage, along with the overall star rating, is perhaps the most important metric, since a professor with a somewhat low star rating but a high would-take-again percent is probably demanding but well worth the learning experience. You can also find out more about a professor’s teaching style, grading, and how accessible they are outside of class by reading the text reviews themselves. These pages are also built to be discoverable by search engines so if you wish to find a specific professor or a course at a particular university, you can look up the reviews for that professor or professor and the course at that university.
