Portal — Access Shared Files
Enter a portal code to instantly access presentations and files shared with you.
The Portal is one of Libraryyy's most powerful features — a public page where anyone can access shared files using a simple code, no account required.
When someone shares a portal code with you, visit the Portal page and enter the 8-character code in the input field. The code follows an XXXX-XXXX format and the system automatically formats it as you type. Once you enter a valid code, the system checks it instantly.
If the file owner has enabled two-step approval, you will see a waiting screen while they review your access request. The owner can approve or reject from their dashboard. Once approved — or if no approval is required — the file viewer opens immediately.
The file viewer displays the shared content with a diagonal watermark showing the owner's name for attribution and protection. You can view the file in fullscreen mode for a better reading experience. The viewer supports images, PDFs, and office documents.
Portal codes expire after 90 seconds of generation for security, so make sure to use them promptly when shared. This system makes it incredibly easy to share study materials, lecture slides, or any file with classmates — just share the code and they are in.
