Personalize Your Experience

On Libraryyy, language and theme options are at your disposal, located on the top-right corner.

The language picker supports three languages: English, Turkish, and Persian. The first picker, at the top bar of the screen shows the language code of your selected language as an initial text (for example EN, TR, or the Persian equivalent). When you tap this initial text, a picker opens up in which all languages and their native names are listed with the currently chosen one highlighted in brand purple. You can easily select the language you want. Each word in the UI text, headings, buttons, etc. changes immediately to the language you select, with a smooth animated transition. Your preference is saved both locally in your browser and synced to your account on the server, so it persists across sessions and devices. If you open Libraryyy in new tab in your browser and your language is English, it will show all text and buttons in English language in that browser tab as well.

In the theme option, you can choose between dark mode and light mode. You can find the sun and the moon icons on the top bar and next to the language picker. When you tap it, it spins in a smooth animation from sun to moon. The colorscheme of the interface also smoothly changes into the dark mode color scheme or light mode color scheme. The animation takes half a second. Dark mode utilizes carefully selected colors including semi-transparent whites and very subtle borders. You can read in dark mode comfortably even when you need to study all through the night. Your preference is also remembered in the next page visit.

The platform uses a center-aligned layout throughout, which means the interface looks and works identically regardless of which language or text direction you use. More languages will be added as Libraryyy rolls out to students across universities worldwide.
