Exams & Practice

Mock exams on Libraryyy are designed to give you the real test experience your university has to offer. Each exam has several sections, a point total, time suggestions and instructions, just like what will be on an exam in your lecture hall.

There are seven types of questions in all. Multiple choice and true-or-false questions are automatically graded by the system upon submission. Short answer questions require a brief written response that is graded by AI. Fill-in-the-blank questions require you to input specific words, formulas or concepts that are correct according to the question. Matching questions have two columns of terms, facts or concepts that should be matched with one another. Essay questions are used for long-form answers that are graded by AI using a rubric and sample answer to compare against your own. Calculation questions are for courses in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) and are also graded by AI, taking into account your answer and your method.

After each question is graded, a full explanation for how the question was answered is provided, allowing each exam attempt to serve as a learning experience. There is a distinction between auto-graded questions (such as multiple choice) and AI-graded questions (such as essays), both are used to arrive at your final grade for the exam.

Once you submit an exam, it is saved to My Studies on your personal dashboard to view your past performance over multiple course exams and courses. Whether it is a midterm or final, the goal is to give you quality practice material that will mirror your university's actual exams.
