Become A Core Contributor

Libraryyy provides ways for students and professors to get their study content into the Libraryyy content library. As you use the app you become a Core Contributor.

Every student starts as a regular user. To submit study content to Libraryyy you need to add and verify your university email address. Once we confirm that your email comes from a university, you are a verified contributor. This verification happens just once. As a university email address and university-verified contributor, you can contribute documents, notes, and study content for a course that you take.

Every submission and every contribution you make is stored, and counted as a contribution to the content library, and the system knows how many contributions of yours that are passed approval. It will also show you when your first contribution and most recent contribution happened. When you have made a number of contributions that are passed approval, then you are a core contributor. As a contributor to the Libraryyy content library, you can also see how many of your submissions have been approved.

Core Contributors are professors, who can create and contribute to course libraries. Like everyone on the app, you begin as a student user and can verify your university email address, once verified you can submit documents, notes and study content for a course. To become a Core Contributor, professors will confirm the validity of their emails to us, and then confirm their affiliation with students enrolled in their course. Once Core Contributor, your course will be verified, and your submissions will be prioritized for moderation. Every user can participate in the creation of content for the content library by contributing course documents and study content. The contribution program is designed to expand over time, and as Libraryyy grows, contributors will earn recognition for their contribution towards helping other students learn!
